My consulting journey began at a boutique firm in Melbourne, Australia. I enjoyed the fact that a small firm could achieve a dynamic approach and a closeness with their clients, effectively becoming the right hand of a company's leadership during periods of transition. There was no better reward than a client who was gushing over the service they had received, because it was so personalised.

I have contributed to and led projects with elements of customer research, organisational design, data analysis, financial forecasting, diversification, global expansion, funding preparation, team building events and strategy facilitations. Over the years, I’ve been exposed to multiple industries including retail, hospitality, events, construction, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, and most recently, I’ve realised consulting projects in Not-for-Profit, MedTech, utilities, apparel, services, social housing, disability, mental health and charity.

Building successful client relationships feels natural and has led to repeat business from past and current clients. I hope that this is a continuing trend - so that I can continue to celebrate my clients wins with them!

An 8-year career in FMCG was dominated by account management roles in domestic retail and export. I enjoyed more than my fair share of international travel and learned about the complexities of managing accounts in various international markets. I visited distributors and clients in China, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UAE, UK and Vietnam. I also represented brands at trade shows in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Pattaya and Dubai. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to see my clients in the USA, Japan, Fiji, the Maldives and Mauritius.

This international exposure has fuelled my interest in serving international clients. I'm excited to leverage remote working to broaden Capi Cor Consulting's geographic client base and help companies anywhere in the world.

A foreign role was very influential in my decision to include impact as a primary focus for Capi Cor Consulting. Early in my career, I moved to Mexico and took on a role as Chief of Quality, Safety, Environment and Innovation at a construction company. The company was at a pivotal moment for international expansion and needed to increase their ESG performance to secure lucrative foreign contracts. Starting from scratch, I was able to interpret foreign client requirements, as well as the domestic regulations before meticulously tailoring, implementing and monitoring dozens of comprehensive policies, processes and procedures. The social impact of that role was also substantial, as I was able to implement a number of high impact initiatives to improve the lives of employees and the local community.

I am constantly hungry for growth. An MBA at Melbourne Business School provided great learning and networking opportunities. I have been described as a super-connector, as I love to introduce peers to each other, especially where they share a common interest. Life drawing classes have recently taken centre stage, which has been a refreshing change of pace. My interests include yoga, meditation, drawing, painting, gardening, hiking with my Great Dane, and of course, getting lost in a good book. Recurring topics of interest include art, psychology, philosophy and languages - Italian, Spanish, French and most recently, Catalan.
